Attempted murder charges, Zillmere

Police have charged a woman after she allegedly drove a car at two pedestrians in Zillmere yesterday afternoon.
At about 2pm a man and a woman where walking east on Zillmere Road.
A silver Mitsubishi Magna driven by a woman, was heading west on Zillmere Road. It is alleged the vehicle has slowed before turning toward the pedestrians and accelerating across the road, mounting the gutter and driving along the footpath at them.
The pedestrians have jumped out of the way to avoid been hit by the vehicle. It is further alleged the vehicle has then driven away and police have located the car and driver later at a Zillmere house.
No one was physically injured in the incident and the people are known to each other.
A 26-year-old Zillmere woman has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and is expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow,
