Company director's conviction over roofer's death quashed in appeal court ruling

Sunshine Coast company director Gary Lavin, who was jailed after a roofer fell to his death on a worksite on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, has his conviction quashed in the Court of Appeal, after his lawyers successfully argue the trial judge did not direct the jury properly about the case.
