Many headstones in the 149-year-old South Brisbane Cemetery are marked with the expression “gone but not forgotten”, however after years of neglect they are falling into ruin. Volunteers are banding together to breathe life into the graveyard, which is the final resting place for some famous — and infamous — Queenslanders.
