Armed robbery, Dakabin
Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a convenience store at Dakabin this evening.
Around 6.30pm two men who had their faces covered with clothing entered the shop on Whitehorse Road and approached the counter.
One of the men produced a knife and demanded cash from two female attendants.
They opened the till and the men took a sum of cash as well as cigarettes and fled the scene on foot.
One man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 183cm tall with a medium build, aged in his 20s and was wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, white runners and had a white shirt wrapped around his head and face.
The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 183cm tall with a solid build, aged in his 20s and was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black “Everlast” branded track pants, black shoes and had a scarf with a skull
