Appeal for public assistance, Everton Park
Police are appealing for public assistance after a 19-year-old woman was assaulted in Everton Park this morning.
Around 7.40am, the woman was walking on a footpath on South Pine Road between Halle Street and Nitawill Street when she noticed a man walking towards her.
The man grabbed the woman by her shorts, causing the woman to scream. A passing motorist in a white utility stopped and asked if the woman was okay, at which time the offender fled the scene on foot.
The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his early 30s, approximately 185cm tall with a large build and blonde hair.
He was wearing beige shorts and a collared polo shirt with a grey, blue and red pinstripe pattern.
Police are appealing for assistance to identify the man fitting the description and are appealing for anyone who may have dash cam vision of the area to please contact them.

Execution of search warrants and arrest – Race fixing investigation
Detectives from the Queensland Racing Crime Squad attached to the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission have this week executed search warrants at properties of five harness racing participants.
This resulted in the arrest of a 46-year-old Warwick man who has been charged with one count of Match Fixing under the Queensland Criminal Code.
This action is the result of a protracted investigation by the QPS, CCC and QRIC into systemic match fixing in the harness racing industry.
Premises visited this week included properties at Limestone Ridges, Warwick, The Gap, Logan Village and Redcliffe. Detectives seized mobile phones, computers, documents and clothing. The items will now be forensically examined as part of the investigation.
Since its inception July 1 2016 the QRCS has been collocated with the Queensland Racing Integrity Commissioner at Albion and is tasked with investigating serious animal cruelty, match fixing and major and organised crime across all three codes of racing.

Update: Armed robbery, Dakabin
Police investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Dakabin overnight have released images of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Around 6.30pm, two men entered the shop on Whitehorse Road and approached the counter.
One of the men produced a knife and demanded cash from two female attendants.
The attendants opened the till, and the men took a sum of cash as well as cigarettes before fleeing the scene on foot. They were last seen heading towards Marsden Road.
One man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 183cm tall with a medium build, aged in his 20s and was wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, white runners and had a white shirt wrapped around his head and face.
The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 183cm tall with a solid build, aged in his 20s and was wearing a grey hooded jumper,
