Designed by Group 4 Architects, the elevate Bunnings Warehouse features a hardware and trade supplies, a nursery, food and drink outlets, shop and showroom.
The warehouse retail is located on the first level with an undercroft parking that can accommodate 433 cars including 8 spaces for accessible parking, 3 trailer bays, and 39 within the Timber and Trade area. The timber and trade shop is situated at the store’s rear area and can be accessed from Newton Street and Sandgate Road.
Bunnings Virginia is also opening its doors for community groups to raise funds via Sausage Sizzle. Interested community groups may contact Bunnings Warehouse to book a Bunnings sausage sizzle.
The new Bunnings Warehouse Virginia is located at 1836 Sandgate Rd, Virginia. Store hours: Monday to Friday 6.30am – 9pm; Saturday 7am – 7pm; and Sunday and 7am – 6pm.
Construction of another Bunnings Warehouse located in Sandgate Road, Virginia is now underway. It is expected to open in late 2019.
The new Bunnings warehouse is located at 1836 – 1840 Sandgate Road, the former site of Campbells Cash and Carry. The elevated Bunnings store, designed by Group 4 Architects, will feature a hardware and trade supplies; garden centre; food and drink outlet; shop; and showroom; and ancillary tenancies of food and drink outlet, showroom, shop and office.
The amended plans will also have an undercroft car parking: Bunnings – 433 car parking spaces including 8 spaces for PDW, 3 trailer bays, and 39 within the Timber and Trade Sales (TTS); New Tenancy – 14 spaces; Existing Tenancy – 35 spaces.

Incorporated in1907 as Bunning Bros by brothers Arthur & Robert Bunning, the company was solely focused on sawmilling. Bunnings expanded as a retail company in 1952 and purchased several hardware stores which paved the way for its entry into the DIY market.
